What Marriage Really Needs Isn't the Absence of Conflict

The Loon on the Lake Every year growing up, my family got away to Minnesota. It is my favorite place on earth. We would go up to a little town called Grand Marais, right up on Lake Superior. And one of my favorite things about being up there is a bird called the loon. If you have never seen one, they are these beautiful birds that make a sound unlike anything else. When you hear it drift across the water early in the morning while you are out fishing, it gives you goosebumps.
